LIGHTSHAPE has developed an AR App called seltravision (iOS/ Android) for the customer SELTRA Natursteinhandel GmbH. SELTRA is an internationally operating trading company with expertise in the natural stone trade. For the planning of surfaces such as terraces, a high level of imagination is necessary. How do certain floor coverings and laying patterns look on your own terrace? Does the end result look the way you imagined it? The AR app seltravision was created to support end customers in planning and imagining the final result.
The seltravision visualization tool uses augmented reality to visualize the SELTRA flooring range EMPEROR on any surface, such as the home terrace. The end customer can thus plan the terrace from the comfort of their own home. More than 50 floor coverings made of different materials such as natural stone or ceramics as well as different installation patterns have been implemented in the AR App. The direction of laying can also be changed and the coverings can be zoomed in on.

Determination of the area
At the beginning, at least four corner points of the terrace, for the detection of the area, must be selected.
Choice of the coating
In the AR app, it is now possible to simulate a variety of floor coverings such as natural stone or ceramics on your own terrace, and the different coverings can be changed as often as you like.
Selection of the laying direction
Once the choice has been made for a particular covering, various installation patterns and directions are available.
Saving the final terrace
The final result can now be saved within the app or as a photo and further used for the implementation of the terrace.
