Extensive AR-App for the Groz-Beckert booth at ITMA 2019 in Barcelona
LIGHTSHAPE has developed an AR app for the four-year leading international textile and garment technology exhibition (ITMA), which provides information and applications for all current Groz-Beckert products.
At ITMA 2019, Groz-Beckert presented its products on large acrylic machines that are brought to life by Augmented Reality. When the machine is viewed with an iPad, its functionality is visualised by means of animation. The animations have points of interest, through which you can immerse yourself in Groz-Beckert's product world by touching them.
In the detailed representation, the products can be explored by touch gestures. It is possible to move, rotate and scale objects in space to understand their purpose. In addition, the products have information flags which clarify their USPs.
The trade fair application will be further developed into Groz-Beckert's internal sales tool. The Sales department will be able to use the advantages of AR in discussions to explain the functionality and purpose of the GB products to the customer.
