The battery was created with its entire inner workings in individual components to enable the display of the assembly in various animations and exploded views.

Porsche has been relying on our many years of experience with their vehicles and technologies for years. In this case, it wasn't just that that was needed, but our ability to create high-performance and visually excellent augmented reality models from CAD data. We have created these AR capable digital twins in the past for the Porsche AR Visualizer app. But this was not a normal production vehicle, nor a normal app application.
The model was used for the global launch of the Taycan, at the IAA 2019 press conference and various other press events. The high-quality model made it possible to implement a live AR presentation with a real vehicle and a tracked camera. Without the high quality of the model, it would not have been possible to implement such a detailed and interactive show. We are proud to be a part of this extraordinary presentation.
