3D Visualisation PORSCHE MISSION E

We received a request from the pilot center of Porsche's new drive plant in Zuffenhausen to show the new plant and the new all-electric drivetrain of the Mission E (internal designation of the Taycan before the start of series production) in a film. The film goes far beyond the real presentation of the new production facilities, because the entire powertrain was to be shown in detail in a 3D visualization. This is where our many years of experience in technical communication with Porsche came into play. We made the two e-machines on the front and rear axles fully functional with their transmissions. This means that when you turn the engine in the digital model, the transmission with all its parts was animated through and you could also display the shifting process correctly.

The film begins with real scenes from production, showing different assembly steps in the factory. Then there is a transition to the 3D visualization, which was created purely on the computer. A reduced, but for a technical visualization high-quality environment was created. In addition to a clear technical representation, the focus was on a visually appealing visualization of the components, implemented with exciting camera movements and perspectives.  The interplay of all the parts resulted in an emotional movie that is certainly unique for the initiation from the production area.
