3D Visualisation Porsche 911 Wet Mode press film
LIGHTSHAPE was commissioned by the press department of Porsche to create an animation for the new Wet Mode of the Porsche 911. The new wet mode allows the vehicle to detect a wet road surface and automatically adjusts its control systems such as ABS, engine and transmission control and active aerodynamics when the wet mode is activated.
For the animation, a custom graphic style was developed to visualize the functionality. A particular challenge in the creation of the animation was the representation of rain and water in the environment as well as on the vehicle (paint).
