CAVE InfoTurm S21 Erleben
DEVELOPMENT / CONTENT / HARDWARE INSTALLATION / VR Application / SERVICE
The new InfoTurm Stuttgart provides information about the Stuttgart-Ulm railway project. The exhibition in the InfoTurm focuses primarily on exhibits using the latest digital reality technologies. Lightshape is responsible for the CAVE installation on level 2. This is a virtual reality exhibit, in which three walls and the floor are simultaneously covered by several beamers in real-time. Viewers can go on interactive camera flights and get an impression of the future through station and how it fits into the cityscape.
Based on the visualization model of the agency Plan B, Lightshape brought the 3D model to life. To make the application appear as realistic and vivid as possible, Lightshape uses the latest real-time technologies in the area of light and shadow calculation, which are used for the first time in such a complex installation.
