XR System Harro Höfliger Interpack

At Interpack 2017, Harro Höfliger presented innovative technical solutions through virtual applications. Using the LIGHTSHAPE holodeck, a VR installation was designed which allowed several visitors to experience the latest company developments interactively. The wireless VR installation covered an area of 5 x 7m and could be used by three visitors at the same time.

Harro Höfliger wanted to use new technological approaches to the presentation medium as a framework for the new presentations and to underline the progressive nature of the company with a futuristic content.

A multi-level space station was designed as a virtual environment, in whose control room visitors could get an initial overview of the machines. In addition, they could use an elevator to enter the hangar to take a close look at the machines there.

The type of presentation was not only eye-catching, but also gave Harro Höfliger the opportunity to present several giant machines at the trade fair that couldn't have been presented otherwise.

In close cooperation with Harro Höfliger, LIGHTSHAPE designed the application and supplied the complete hardware setup as well as the software architecture. LIGHTSHAPE was also responsible for the installation at the booth.
