Virtual Reality Infoturm Stuttgart Driving simulator digital node
Since August 2020 there has been a new interactive exhibit in the InfoTurm Stuttgart. The new driving simulator, implemented and programmed by LIGHTSHAPE, gives visitors a playful, interactive and entertaining understanding of the effects of digitally supported driving at the "digital node in Stuttgart". The new exhibit shows visitors how the technology works and what benefits it brings to travelers. The aim of the driving simulator is to travel the routes punctually and energy-efficiently with the S-Bahn, regional train or ICE and to reach the selected stations.
Virtually, the S-Bahn runs between Stuttgart main station (low) and the new Mittnachtstraße station. Regional train and ICE travel between the new Stuttgart main station and Stuttgart Airport long-distance station on the Filder hills.
In the various levels, visitors are given a number of hints that are intended to show the relevance of digital information for optimal travel behavior.
