The new Porsche Cayenne with active aerodynamic in the Porsche wind tunnel
In the past, LIGHTSHAPE has repeatedly created films for Porsche's aerodynamics developers.
In this case, in addition to the aerodynamics and thermodynamics of the new Porsche Cayenne, the new wind tunnel had to be shown at the Weissach Development Center.
We were provided with the physically correct flow data by Porsche, which were combined with the data of the car.
In the beginning there was only a very rough 3D model of the new wind tunnel, which is why we took several 360° panorama spheres and countless photos on site, in order to model and texture a high-quality visualization of the location.
On this basis, the car and the cameras were animated to create a full CG film.
