The NFTs differ not only in the different vehicles, but also in the other content of the cards: including paints, effects or backgrounds. The combination of different factors ("traits") ultimately results in unique digital collectibles. Some special features are also paints that do not exist in the physical world: for example "Liquid" or "Mirror".
0xNXT - NFT Animations
On behalf of the creative studio 0xNXT, which exclusively produces digital collectibles for Mercedes-Benz, renderings of thousands of unique video clips for NFTs were created according to a complex specification key.
Mercedes-Benz NXT Icons are a tribute to the design heritage of Mercedes-Benz. They are intended to create a connection between past, present and future through a contemporary reinterpretation of Mercedes-Benz's most iconic designs for the digital age. The designs were created by the Mercedes-Benz design team under the leadership of Chief Design Officer Gorden Wagener.
The story of the Mercedes-Benz NXT Icons is told in seven eras, from the present to the beginnings of automotive history. Each era contains selected highlights. The names of these eras refer to specific, distinctive and defining features of the Mercedes-Benz products of the respective era.
The selection of the vehicle models included was coordinated closely with the Mercedes-Benz Museum and with experts from all areas and brands of Mercedes-Benz. In order to integrate the vehicles into the Mercedes-Benz NXT Icons, Mercedes-Benz digitized a large number of the icons for the first time.
