Mainz University of Applied Sciences - VR work environment for students
The university approached us because they had the idea of a VR workspace and had seen our holodeck at AUDI in Ingolstadt.
After briefly clarifying the options, the plan was to implement it with HTC glasses and inside-out tracking.
The HCC, the basis of the AUDI holodeck, could not be used for this because it is based on Unity, and Unreal was required here.
To accelerate the development process, we brought RAMROD XR on board as a partner.
Using the existing components, we were able to develop the multi-user VR environment relatively quickly.
We also developed some special features for use in architecture studies.
Hardware setup

A later move and flexible use made a mobile setup necessary
