The digital showroom consists of a total of six exhibit tables, each representing a separate product line. There is also a welcome desk and a virtual bar. Visitors can navigate to the stands via navigation points on the floor. Visitors as well as sales staff are shown with their avatars in the digital showroom. The speaker at the welcome desk is a real shot, which we captured and cropped with greenscreen technology.

In 2021, Groz-Beckert will also be represented with a real trade fair stand at ITMA Asia, which takes place every two years. The ongoing Corona pandemic is still severely restricting the entire trade fair world as well as foreign travel at this time.
Groz-Beckert wanted a way to present its innovations and products to customers who could not travel to Asia.

Development of a 3D World
The digital exhibition stand is not a copy of the real exhibition stand. It was designed specifically for the 3D world. Elements and graphics from the real booth were taken over to ensure a consistent appearance. The digital showroom is not based on 360 degree panoramas. A real 3D scene was developed, allowing to move freely in the space and interact with fully animated product exhibits. The booth conveys a real sense of space and trade show feeling.

The complete physical customer journey of the visitors was transferred to the 3D world. Visitors to the digital showroom can walk around the booth, visit stands and look at products, as well as meet and exchange ideas with other visitors at the bar, just like at the real trade show. And all this from any location in the world. Without the time and money spent on travel and without health risks.

A personal consultation with a sales representative is possible at any time. You can invite customers to a private conversation and thus form a closed group and guide them around the stand. This creates a "private atmosphere" even in the digital world, which cannot be disturbed or overheard by other visitors. The employee has extended interaction possibilities with the products. The digital showroom can be visited from any location in the world. An invitation link is used to access the digital showroom via the browser, entirely without prior installation.
