AUDI - A6 VR Training for Vehicle Presentation

We contributed an innovative VR training program to Audi for the launch of the Audi A6. The goal was to provide service employees with an interactive and practical introduction to the vehicle's technical features.

Participants enter a virtual lobby and choose from six freely available modules – from chassis and powertrain to thermal management, body, and infotainment.

In each module, users assemble vehicle components step by step onto the virtual model. This process is supported by:

  • Ghost shaders for correct positioning,
  • SnapOn mechanics for precise installation,
  • an InfoPad with technical details,
  • and accompanying animations directly on the 3D object.

Gamification provides additional incentives: time limits, points, and virtual awards boost motivation and learning success. In the lobby, users can view their awards and discover additional content.

Our tasks ranged from the design and 3D layout of the modular rooms, through the integration and preparation of the supplied CAD data, to the complete implementation according to Audi VR framework guidelines – including German localization and final acceptance.
