LIGHTSHAPE developed an augmented reality experience in the form of an app for the AMG UNXPCTD pop-up store at Motorworld Munich. On site in the 82 sqm showroom, interested parties can get advice from a Mercedes-Benz product expert on their desired vehicle, test drive it, configure it and buy it. The showroom offers its visitors a modern brand experience by linking physical and digital elements.
The central focus is on a red exhibition cube, which presents the new AMG models, starting with the new Mercedes-AMG SL. The augmented reality experience allows visitors to dive even deeper into the AMG UNXPCTD world and the various new models.

AMG UNXPCTD App The interactive Augmented Reality Experience
The AMG UNXPCTD app that has been developed lets interested parties discover the showroom virtually. Whether on site at Motorworld in Munich or at home, interested parties can experience the augmented reality experience from anywhere. The application is available for smartphones and iPads, and the virtual showroom can be placed on any surface via the camera.
After that, molecules appear in the virtual space, which cover the car. Wiping movements with the finger gradually reveal the car beneath the molecules. Once the car has been completely revealed, visitors can discover other AMG models.
