LIGHTSHAPE developed an augmented reality app for the AMG UNXPCTD pop-up store at Motorworld Munich. The showroom offers its visitors a deep dive into the AMG UNXPCTD world by linking physical and digital elements. Through the AR App, interested parties can discover the various new AMG models in detail.
LIGHTSHAPE has won a tender of the "Eigenbetrieb Kaiserbäder" of the island of Usedom. For this, an adventure trail was planned which connects various lakes and other places worth seeing. In order to provide more in-depth information about the various places, the adventure trail is to be supplemented by a digital layer through an app. On our project page you can find the visualized ideas from our concept.
Manual picking augmented reality: LIGHTSHAPE has developed a pick-by-augmented reality system to support picking activities in the warehouse as part of the ZIM research project. On our project page you can find a video as well as more pictures and information about the project.
AR Modeling & Texturing: LIGHTSHAPE created low poly modeling for the Porsche 911 powertrain. The challenge of the project was to reduce the dataset from vehicle development so that it could be run in a mobile AR application on a cell phone. The original dataset consisted of 200 million polygons with all the individual parts of the drivetrain down to the last bolt. On our project page you can find more information about the process as well as the resulting graphics.
VR Multi User Training for caregiver training: LIGHTSHAPE has developed a VR application with multi-user solution to support location-independent training of caregivers. This is based on LIGHTSHAPE's proprietary VR software HCC (Holodeck Control Center). For caregiver training, the ExoHaptik system, a multi-user mixed reality simulation with force feedback via an exoskeleton, is being developed. You can get a deeper insight in our Exohaptik movie on the project page.
AR App development, training in sales and a better user experience: to explain the technical details of a sports exhaust system, many technical graphics and animations are often necessary. LIGHTSHAPE has developed an AR app for Porsche AG to make temperature curves, exhaust gas flows and flap controls an interactive experience. Interactive, playful experience with high learning success.
AR App, Concept & App Development: Planning terraces requires a high degree of imagination. LIGHTSHAPE has developed an AR visualization tool called seltravision for SELTRA Natursteinhandel GmbH. The AR app uses augmented reality to visualize the SELTRA flooring range on any surface. Customers are thus supported in planning and imagining the final result of the terrace.
AR Marketing, AR Collaboration & Future mobility concepts: We won an "XR Future" pitch of Mercedes-Benz AG with our concept and developed Augmented Reality prototypes. The task was to develop an AR application of an urban neighborhood overlaid with AR. Pedestrians, vehicles and much more, the application was made tangible through the interaction of mobility.
If you want to be a media company in the digital industry, you have to keep up with the times. At LIGHTSHAPE, we are therefore always on the lookout for innovative additions to our workflow in order to deliver the best possible quality as quickly as possible - and at a fair price.
"Lean Production" whose core consists of optimized production chains, continuous improvement processes and error minimization also have an impact on employee training, which must continue to develop with the same demands. Industry 4.0 focuses on process optimization through digitization, robots and automation. This is a subject area that consumes immense research funds and resources.
Interactive applications, whether AR on a smartphone or VR on a powerful computer, enable interaction and an emotional connection that cannot be achieved by simply watching movies or graphics. The user does not stand outside, but becomes a part of the experience by actively shaping it. They move and rotate products, change the paint job on their dream car, or unscrew virtual devices.
Augmented Reality (AR) applications are increasingly finding their way into our lives. Whether in the consumer segment or in business applications, with AR complex products and content can be presented and communicated in a clear and understandable way.
